Lead STEAM Instructor (30–35 Hours/Week)
Coding, Robotics, Drones, Engineering & Technology Instructor
We're looking for experienced STEM educators, engineers, coders, robotics enthusiasts, drone pilots, makers, and technology professionals who want to inspire the next generation.
This position combines technical instruction with mentoring and leadership. You'll teach students advanced STEAM topics while helping lead programs across multiple locations.
Schedule
25–35 hours per week
Year-round position
Includes homeschool classes, after-school programs, evening middle school classes, summer camps, and special events
Schedule may include early afternoons through evening on some weekdays and weekends
Additional hours may be available for birthday parties, science fairs, workshops, camps, and community events
Required Experience
Applicants should have experience in one or more of the following:
Computer programming
Robotics
Drones
Engineering
Computer Science
Information Technology
Makerspace fabrication
CAD / 3D Design
Electronics
STEM Education
Ability to drive for school pick up
AND
Experience working with children, teens, camps, classrooms, tutoring, coaching, or youth programs
Responsibilities
Teach coding, robotics, drones, engineering, and STEM classes
Lead groups of students ages 5–15
Adapt instruction to different learning styles
Mentor and support newer instructors
Help troubleshoot technical projects
Assist with curriculum implementation
Support summer camps, competitions, science fairs, and special events
Create an engaging, positive, and energetic learning environment
Communicate professionally with parents and staff

$22 - $28/hr DOE
