TechGurlz
TechGurlz is a creative/tech class for girls 5th-8th grade , or those identifying as girls, to explore technology through creative projects in a supportive, fun space. They will start with graphic design concepts, creating their own personal 3D logo and then 3D print it as a keychain or stamp. After they will move into wearable circuits, film making, laser cut jewelry, website creation or anywhere the class chooses to explore! Read more here.
Upper Elementary School Robots and Legos!
Robotics is a fun and easy way to get started with STEM while learning programming, engineering, & design principles. This class will guide students through beginner projects, introducing new concepts and skills using a variety of different robotic platforms including Lego® Sphero Global Challenge, MakeBlock MBots, and more. Grades 2nd-5th, please read more here.
Middle School Coding and Robotics Team
We love middle schoolers and we better because two classes come together to take over the Club! Our Middle School Robotics Teams, in groups of 2-3, develop their math, engineering, coding and of course team-building skills as they work to compete in VEX challenges with the robots they design and build over several months. The kids who choose Middle School Coding, have a wide range of abilities from brand new coders to those ready to take on Python and Javascript, we have it all and will work through our self paced lessons as well as group coding projects to get them where they want to be. Grades 6th-8th, please read more about Robotics Team here and our coding curriculum here!
Upper Elementary School Coding and STEM
Our unique group coding classes balance screen time with hands-on activities and opportunities to create and explore a variety of activities including 3D printing, makerspace and basic robotics. They focus on our signature coding curriculum that can take any coder where they want to be! Each class our coders will spend the 50-60 minutes coding as well as 15-20 minutes doing a more social, team building STEM activity. Each month we offer different coding challenges for them to show us their mad coding skills. Grades 3rd-5th, please read more here.
Early Elementary School Coding, Robotics and STEM
Our unique K-2 group classes also balance screen time with hands-on activities and opportunities to create and explore a variety of activities. These classes rotate between three stations, one of which is always coding and the other two vary between other computer activities such as 3D design, pixel or digital photography, science experiments, building and coding robots and STEM creations. Basic reading is very helpful, please read more here.
School Pick up - Don’t forget to sign up for a class in addition to pick up!
