Let Us Host Your Next Birthday Party!
Yes, we “Learn by Doing”……. Even on your birthday. Let us host a Party your Special One will Never Forget!!
The Coding Club offers an exciting birthday party experience that combines STEM education with hours of fun and competition. Our birthday parties are designed for children ages 6 and up, and are led by experienced instructors who will guide your child and their friends through the build-and-play process.
The party will last for two hours, during which time the children will be grouped into age-appropriate teams and given the opportunity to learn about coding and robotics in a fun and engaging way. Our instructors will encourage the kids to work together, emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship and team skills. We'll also provide certificates of achievement for all participants, so they can remember their fun and educational birthday party experience for years to come.
Overall, a birthday party from the Coding Club is the perfect way to introduce your child and their friends to the exciting world of STEM education, while also celebrating their special day in a unique and unforgettable way. Contact us today to book your party and give your child a birthday they'll never forget!
Party Themes!
Sumo & Soccer Bots: For ages 8-14. Working in pairs, guests start with pre-built, pre-programmed robot vehicles and then customize them with fun freestyle LEGO parts with looks and strategy in mind. Battles are one-on-one for many rounds and end with several all-robots-at-once final battles. Guests can also pair up and build a robot that is remote controlled and play soccer against another player. Guests will also do a simple robot STEM take home project.
Minecraft: For ages 7-15. Guests play on our own dedicated server using games we have designed. The Minecraft game entry space is customized with the name of the birthday host. Guests will also do a Minecraft STEM take home project of your choosing for a little screen break!
Lego®: For ages 6-10. This party is broken up into three parts to keep them moving and having fun! We will first have friendly competitions for freestyle building challenges to create vehicles competing for rolling distance, speed and accuracy down a ramp, create likenesses of plants or animals or everyday items or solve specific engineering. We will then move to Lego® STEM project to create something they can take home and spend the last hour building with our Lego® Robotic Kits to build and program simple Lego® machines!
Introduction to Coding and Video Game Creation- For ages 7-14. Guests will have a solid introduction to programming in Scratch and learn how it can be used to create games and animations. Scratch was developed by MIT, is free, is an excellent way to learn fundamentals of programming and does not require any downloads to your computer to use at home. Scratch is appropriate for children as young as 7 or 8 and up to 15 or 16, and does not require keyboard skills. Guests are encouraged to provide an email address for creation of an account for their Scratch programming projects to use later from any computer or device with internet access. Guests will also do a STEM take home project of your choosing for a little screen break!
