Code and GO School Year Camps at our new location in Bellingham!

Bellingham and Robotics Camps is so excited for our new location and access to both Cornwall park and our own gym! During the vast majority of Bellingham Public School holidays and teacher work days (aka Purple Fridays) we will be offering a variety of STEM Camps from 10am-3pm each day at our Bellingham Club House (for transportation information from Skagit please email admin@codingandroboticsclub.com)

We strive to make these camps the perfect combination of educational screen time, STEM activities, group games and outside/gym time and good ole fashion FUN! Each camp will be broken into age appropriate groups with a student to counselor ratio of 1 to 6 and rotate between 4 activity stations: Coding (all levels welcome - Scratch, JavaScript, Minecraft EDU, Python and more), Makerspace projects, large group games in our gym, robotics (we have so many different kinds and will feature a different one each day such as Lego robotics, VEX, Mabots, MBots, and on and on) and outside adventures at Cornwall park weather permitting, all based around a fun theme!

We know many parents work during these days so, on Purple Fridays, you may also add in early drop off starting at 8:45am and late pick up until 5:15pm (please scroll all the way down!). During early drop off kids will do non-screen time games and hang out in our fun lobby area. After camp we know they will be tired so they will vote on an age appropriate movie to watch until pick up at 5:15pm or be invited to join the ongoing coding class.

Below are our 2024 School Year Camp descriptions, join us when your child is ready for some STEM adventure! All camps run from 10am-3pm at our Bellingham Coding Club!

  • MLK Day - Jan 15th - 10am-3pm

    • Pokemon Adventure- Join us for a day of all things Pokemon!! We will be coding Pokemon games, doing Pokemon simulator, Pokemon crafts and games and OF COURSE playing some Pokemon! A Pokemon Dream come true (no pun intended, ok, maybe a little pun!) (7-11yrs old)

    • Middle School Dungeons and Dragons - Unlock your child's imagination and embark on a thrilling journey with this one day Dungeons & Dragons Camp! Led by experienced Dungeon Masters, our camp offers an educational and interactive adventure tailored to 11 to 14 year olds. From epic quests to intricate puzzles, your child will be immersed in a world of fantasy and adventure for a day of igniting their creativity, honing their problem-solving skills, and cultivating lifelong friendships. (11-16yrs old)

  • Treaty Day - Jan 22nd 10am-3pm

    • Star Wars Jedi Training - Attention young Padawans. Something inside of you has always been there, but now it is awake. Our team of Jedi masters brings to life stories from the legendary Star Wars series to promote engaging STEM activities. Create your own lightsaber! Battle Robots, create a galaxy in a jar! Learn survival skills for planets from Endor to Tatooine! Through our training program, Padawans will develop strength of the mind and body, all while discovering the power of the hero within. Follow your destiny and start your mission today. May the force be with you. (8-12yrs old). (This camp is full but jump on the waitlist and with critical mass we will try to open it up)

    • Middle School Dungeons and Dragons - Unlock your child's imagination and embark on a thrilling journey with this one day Dungeons & Dragons Camp! Led by experienced Dungeon Masters, our camp offers an educational and interactive adventure tailored to 11 to 14 year olds. From epic quests to intricate puzzles, your child will be immersed in a world of fantasy and adventure for a day of igniting their creativity, honing their problem-solving skills, and cultivating lifelong friendships. (11-16yrs old)

  • President’s Day - Feb 19th 10am-3pm

    • Among Us Camp! Calling all agents. There is an impostor among us! We need you to use your special skills and deductive reasoning to determine who is sus and help us take them down.

      Campers will complete STEM activities around the hit game Among Us and learn how to solve and troubleshoot tasks! Campers will create and print 3D Among Us characters, build robots and use stop motion animation. Campers will create and play fun and hilarious games, and compete in exciting camp tournaments! To maintain secrecy, agents will develop their own secret code, so they can send messages to each other or their friends without appearing sus. All around fun and engaging camp for the Among Us fans. Do you think you have what it takes to pull it off?

    • Middle School Dungeons and Dragons - Unlock your child's imagination and embark on a thrilling journey with this one day Dungeons & Dragons Camp!   • March 15th Purple Friday - 10am-3pm - CANCELLED

  • April 1st-5th Spring Break Harry Potter Camp!

    • Let your imagination run wild in our new Harry Potter themed camp! From hippogriffs, dragons, house-elves, basilisk, and owls, to sorting hats, dementors, potions, spells…and all things magical, come join us for the time of your life! Search for Horcruxes throughout the week, team up for our Harry Potter Trivia Game, play the wizarding sport of Quidditch, brew up Butter Beer, create your own wand and Death Eater’s mask, Patronus, chocolate frogs, and lots, lots more! And because we love STEM we will code Harry Potter games, and use Robots to battle the Enderdragon! (8-12 yrs old)

Waitlists

WORD TO THE WISE: Don’t be afraid of waitlists (the only way to get on one, is to register by clicking on the word “Waitlist” by the camp you want and going through the process)! We have a few weeks where we can drop in camps and we will choose the dates and type of camps based on what camps/dates have the most waitlists. Those on the waitlists will be sent an invitation to register first. Despite giving your credit card, YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED until you agree, in writing, if you want the camp. We pinky promise. We wish we didn’t have to ask for your credit card but the software requires it! If there is no “Waitlist” or “Register” available, the waitlist is full (all are capped at 8)

Cancellations, Refunds and Transferring

We understand that life changes, even with the best intentions and plans (especially when you have to book in February, we hear you - we have kids too!). We also know that many decisions here at The Coding and Robotics Club are put into action based on enrollment expectations. In light of this, 10% of the cost is non-refundable, regardless of when you cancel. After that, refund amounts are based on how far in advance we receive the written request prior to camp start. 

  • 75% refund thirty (30) or more days before start of camp (not including 10% non-refundable registration fee).

  • 50% refund fourteen (14) or more days before start of camp (not including 10% non-refundable registration fee).

  • 25% refund thirteen (13) days or less before start of camp (not including 10% non-refundable registration fee).

  • No refunds after camp starts.
