STEAM Club Instructor (Part-Time)

Do you love working with children? Are you energetic, reliable, and excited to help kids learn and create? We are looking for enthusiastic instructors to lead our after-school STEM programs.
No advanced coding or robotics experience required.
Many of our most successful instructors started with experience working with children and learned the technical skills on the job. If you can build relationships with kids, manage a small group, and bring positive energy, we can teach the rest.
Schedule
2–3 afternoons per week
Approximately 2–3 hours per day
Primarily after school
Flexible scheduling based on availability
Additional hours may be available for birthday parties, science fairs, school events, workshops, camps, and other special programs
What You'll Do
Work with students ages 5–12
Lead small groups of students through engaging coding, robotics, engineering, and STEAM projects using curriculum and project instructions provided by the Club. No advanced technical experience is required—we'll teach you what you need to know.
Encourage students when they become frustrated or stuck
Create a positive, welcoming learning environment
Assist with games, activities, and group projects
Communicate professionally with parents and staff
Help make learning fun and engaging

Have strong communication skills
Can pass a background check

Compensation
$20 - $26/hr DOE
